We went to Disneyland Sunday for the soul purpose of seeing Santa. The family picture went okay, but the one of just the kids was pretty much what I expected. I snapped the picture before the baby could really scream or get upset but you can tell she isn't too happy. The fuzzy characters, such as Chip and Dale and Pluto, still remain Daisy’s absolute favorite. She cannot get enough of them and that leads to such sweet pictures as this one. Anyone who happens to see the baby interact with fuzzy people can’t help but start saying “Aw.” This past Sunday, Pluto was so enamored with Daisy, he gave her a picture he had been coloring and signed it “Love, Pluto” for her. But as much as she loves the fuzzy people, she really could not care less about Princesses and such. She pretty much started down Cinderella and Peter Pan on past occasions. One more Daisy/Character anecdote and then I’ll change subjects. Last week the girls and I went shopping at the mall and stopped in the Disney Store. They have a fairly large statue of Mickey Mouse in the front of the store. When Daisy saw it, she immediately started reaching towards him and saying hi. It took her a minute before she realized he wasn’t the real one and I felt terrible for her disappointment.

Yesterday was spent adorning our house with lights. Chris only blew 3 or 4 fuses, lol. It looks great though. When we came home that night from being out, I made Tabitha close her eyes and then I plugged the lights in before Chris told her to open her eyes so she could get the full effect at once. I wish I had one of those light-up snowmen to go next to the Christmas tree though. Perhaps I’ll end up purchasing it next week. Better late than never, as they say :)
