12/05/2005 Archived Entry: "jingle bel.... aw forget it"

Yesterday was Disneyland for four hours so I could get pictures of my kids dressed in hoiday gear. It only took us two hours to figure out Daisy hated standing in her shoes and that's why she wouldn't smile. Then I was dropped off at a baby shower while the rest came home. Tabitha was picked up by my mom to go see a play of Babes in Toyland then I was picked up at the baby shower by Chris and Daisy. The three of us used his birthday gift certificate to Macaroni Grill for an early dinner before coming home to veg in front of the tv with 2 hours of Will and Grace and then the oldest kid came home. Somewhere in all that I managed to get a wonderful case of food poisoning and spent most of the night on a cold linoleum floor. Chris was on baby duty by himself and she chose that night to wake every two hours. So between her waking and my stomach waking me, I didn't sleep. I'm exhausted, I'm physically in pain in every muscle in my body and Chris had to leave this morning for an important meeting that could not be missed. At some point in my life I would like to feel normal again. Four weeks and counting since that last happened. No Christmas parties for me this year, I'm too busy at my pity party.
