It took Tabitha 2 hours to put together her Little People Village just so yesterday. It took Daisy 2 minutes to destroy. Tabitha knew that would happen, so she wasn't overly upset. I put it back together for her after Daisy went down for her nap. As far as she's concerned, news toys were set up just for her and she is loving it, lol.
We skipped our math lesson yesterday. It was an introduction to multiplying by 10 and before we got started Tabitha says to me that she thinks she's figured it out. She knows multiplication is groups of numbers and has been figuring out many doubles and triples for weeks. So I ran through the flashcards with her and she got every one of them correct so I figured the lesson was done :) She had been hoping we'd finish Math 2 by the end of the year and then we'd take all of January off, but if we did lessons every single day, including Christmas, we'd still be 10 lessons shy of done. She was extremely disappointed to hear that. She's excited to do math right now because of finally starting multiplying and she wants to get to the end. Hopefully we can manage to not slack off too much and then we'll be done in January. Today we are going to our first park day with a homeschooling park group not too far away. Hopefully the supposed rain will hold off so it doesn't get cancelled.
We went out to dinner with Chris's family last night to celebrate his birthday. Tabitha had her uncle next to her so she was very happy. Daisy had an endless stream of food in front of her so she was happy. And Chris had his yearly beer :) After we left the restaurant we made a quick stop at Target before coming home to start the bedtime process. It was a very pleasant evening.
