We had a really nice playdate this morning. It usually does go well with this particular friend, so I'm not surprised. Tabitha made me a deal this morning that if she left the playdate without any issues, we'd stop at the McDonald's by their house to look for our last two Madame Alexander dolls. Good thing it worked out because we found the last two and now have a complete collection :)
After that we headed up to Chris and the three of us went to Disneyland. The plan was to character hunt for Villains because they usually have rare villains out this time of year. But when we first walked in, we saw the bus that picks up guests to be in the parade, something Miss Tabitha has been wanting to do very badly for the last two years. She is finally tall enough and today she was going to be in the Parade of the Stars!! She and Chris did it together and I took loads of pics. She was so happy to finally be able to do it and she loved every minute of it. It brought a tear to my eye to see her so happy. She received an exclusive pin for her effort and many memories.
We did see some Villains after her time in the spot light was done. We had met them before in years past, but Tabitha didn't have their autographs so that's why she wanted to meet them again. We were also excited to see a new character, Don Karnage from Tail Spin from the old Disney Afternoon. So one new character to add to our list.
Once we were home and dinner was finished, Tabitha read through a new Highlights magazine and decided to make one of the crafts. She made me two heart frames with pictures of her in the middle. On the back was a note that said "Dear Mom, Thank you for evreything [sic]!" *sigh* Too sweet that girl of mine :)
