10/18/2004 Archived Entry: "Rain, rain, go away"

The way has spoiled our plans the weekend. We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch run by a local university yesterday, but there was no chance of that. Today we were planning on going to Disneyland, but again, not in the rain. Yesterday we continued our hunt of Disney Madame Alexander dolls at McDonald's and found two more so now we only have two to go. Once home, Chris and I put a bookcase into the playroom to help with our space issues. We still need to rearrange the room and pull up the carpet, but at least we made a bit of progress. After that we hit the garage and went through some boxes and got rid of a lot of junk. Again, more still needs to be done in the garage, but I'm so happy we made a start.
Not sure what we'll do with ourselves today. I'd rather not be stuck at home again, but I think I'm the only one of the family that feels that way.
