In order to kick-off National Care Week, Toys R Us had a Care Bear event today. Well, they called it an event, I call it a waste of time. We went, took a big with a rather scary looking Care Bear who was sitting behind a green table and then the kid was handed a sorry looking frame to do at home. Boy this pale in comparison to all the other Toys R Us events we've attended. Very anti-climatic.

We spent the rest of the morning crusing McDonalds in search of Disney Madame Alexander dolls. They come out with the dolls every October and we love to collect them, but this year with Disney tie-in we absolutely must get them. We've gotten 2 of the 6 so far. Actually there are 8, but two sets of Mickey and Minnie with different skin tones and I don't think we need more than one of each. I don't care which skin tone each one is, but we don't need both. Miss Tabitha thinks we do, however, so we'll see.

Chris came home early to take Tabitha to her dance class because I am just exhausted. The child has been waking up an hour or more early every day and I reached my wall today. So while they were gone, I took a three hour nap. I never nap but boy did I need and appreciate it today. I did wake up feeling much, much better.

Tabitha played on Disney's Blast for awhile while Chris and I watched the pilot to "Dead Like Me" which we just borrowed from my bil. After dinner, we all played a round of Disney Trivia (which Tabi won because the kid questions are a joke) and then Tabitha and I played our computer version of Disney Trivia. I absolutely love that game, but man does it take forever. So Tabitha got to bed later than she normally does which may or may not help with the getting up too early. Tomorrow we want to be out of the house by 8:30am so that's probably the day she'll choose to sleep in, lol.
