We went to a birthday party today and it's going to end up costing me fifty bucks a month. You see, it was at a gymnastics center. Boy did Tabi have a ton of fun! She told me she wants to be a gymnastics student. We happen to have a field trip at another gymnastics place in a week that is just down the street from here. So, Chris and I will check out the facility and see if it's something we can work out for the kid's sake.
I only found out about the party on Wednesday via an email invitation. I only noted the time and place and RSVP'd. Last night I was looking at the invite again to confirm the time and noticed it said "gym clothing (no dresses)." Ack! It's really rainy here right now so shorts are out. Jeans just werent going to cut it. I know most kids have sweats, but not mine because I have a major aversion to them. So, we headed out to Target in the pouring rain this morning to find one of those tacky track suits. We chose the least offensive of the 3 choices and thankfully they fit decently and weren't in too much danger of falling off of her. Even an XS is too big around her waist since she's so lean. She actually looked really cute in the outfit and she'll wear it to the gymnastics field trip next week too.
Right now we're just kicking back while I rid myself of a massive headache. We may or may not do lessons considering it's already 5:00pm. Maybe just a math lesson.
