I forgot I wanted to talk a bit about our lessons. We've been on an extended break with only sporadic lessons since before Christmas and now that all the partying is over and done with, it was time to get back to normal. Today we added on to our regular math lesson. We started our map skills unit and also our animal unit study. I have never liked unit studies and didn't use any for pre-school, but I do enjoy this particular one. Tabitha told me today that these were the most fun lessons she's ever had. That's a pretty good endorsement. I'll be ordering the next units very soon :) We'll probably go to the zoo next week to tie it all together. We didn't work on reading and writing formally, but they just kind of happen during the course of her lessons anyway.
