My child is staging a protest against the weather. We wake up to clouds just about every morning. It's called "June gloom" around SoCal. This morning Tabitha doesn't like clouds unless it's raining, in which case she's all for them. So this morning she told me she was just going to sit and watch TV and wasn't going to stop until the sun came out. She eventually got bored of the TV and is now playing, but won't get dressed until the sun shines. I really, really, hope it comes out at some point. Though I seriously doubt we'll have issues about getting her dressed to go places. Chris was up very early for work this morning, so as soon as he gets home, we'll leave so he can nap for a bit. We have a Dodger game tonight so he can't go to bed early. But I'm with my kid. I'm so tired of waking up to clouds. Plus, it's kind of cold in the mornings so it's hard to dress appropriately because it's been rather hot in the afternoons. One good thing for today is I got my order from Hot Topic today. I ordered an Oscar the Grouch shirt for me and 4 Care Bear cousins for Tabs. Now she only needs one more Care Bear to complete her collection. Of course, it's not that easy considering the one she needs has been discontinued so I have to resort to outrageous prices on ebay. Ah, the things I do for my kid :)
