What a long day. First of all, Chris and I went to see Pearl Jam last night. They were fabulous, as usual. It was his 6th time and my 5th time seeing them. They played “Black” this time which is my all time favorite of their song. Other favorites of mine that they played were “Rearviewmirror”, “Thumbing My Way” and “YellowLedbetter.” Chris was stoked because they covered “Baba O’ Reilly.” Our seats were okay, they’re never good enough, of course. Oh, and we ate a deep fried Oreo. As in the cookie. They dunked the Oreo in pancake batter then deep fried it and topped it with powdered sugar. It was actually pretty good. We didn’t get home until 2AM and Miss Tabitha decided I needed to be awake at 7:06AM. Yikes! Two glasses of Diet Coke and I was ready for the day. She and I hopped a couple busses down to LA and went to the Natural History Museum. Well, it wasn’t really that simple. It takes 1 hour 20 minutes to get to downtown, then we had to take the LA shuttle bus to the museum. By the time we got there, I was ready to go home, lol. We had a good time though. The butterfly pavilion is open again so we spent some time in there. Tabitha enjoyed the museum. We went through the mammal, fossil and dinosaur halls and then to the Discovery Center which is a hands on area for kids plus an insect zoo. And then started the long ride home. Pizza was definitely in order for this evening. We quickly stopped at Target for some pictures and now Chris is going to help me do some scrapping for a project for Mommy and Me class tomorrow. Yes, I left it to the last possible minute considering it's already 9:30. Hopefully I work well under pressure.
