I had a nice Mother's Day today. It started at 6:17am with my child yelling "Happy Mother's Day!" at the top of her lungs, but it's the thought that counts, right? I had Chris put her back to bed, but she came back half an hour later. Chris had to work, unfortunately so I went out with my Mom and sister. We went to Descanso Gardens. It was very beautiful and went had a nice time walking among all the flowers. The rose garden was especially full of blooming flowers. Chris was home by the time I returned and he had a few gifts for me. Very sweet. We'll be eating kind of late, I decided I wanted chips with salsa and guacamole. We'll also have quesadillas. All in all, a very nice 5th Mother's Day for me :)
