Well, we got our new game at the mall today. We bought a new copy because it was only $2.00 more than the used copy. We had taken 2 old games in to trade and got $20 credit for Kingdom Hearts, which was a great game, and $3 credit for Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, which really kind of stunk. We were happy with the $3! LOL So, we basically got Dark Cloud for free and have a dollar and change leftover in store credit. We'll most likely be getting Dark Cloud 2 when we're ready for a new game.
We took Tabitha out to practice on her new roller blades. She originally had the 3 stages kind. The ones where the wheels don't move on stage 1, only roll forward on stage 2, and roll both ways on stage 3. The problem is they have big plastic wheels that don't really roll at all. She was never going to learn to skate properly with these, hence why we got her new ones. She really wants to play hockey, but she has to know how to skate first, they don't teach them. I'm realizing how hard it is to explain how to skate though. I think I'm going to look into getting her lessons, but we'll see. I sign her up for enough classes, I don't need to over-schedule the poor kid! Dance classes end next Saturday though, and we're not planning on signing her up again. She and I have been practicing for the recital next weekend. We'll see how it goes!
