Our week has been going pretty good. Tuesday, Chris took an extra day off of work and we went to California Adventure for a couple hours. All we did was watch the Playhouse Disney Live! show again, ride the bumper cars and have lunch. We were pleased to a see 2 new characters. Tabitha visited with Stanley and also Ollie from Rolie Polie Ollie. We heard Zoe was there too, but we didn't see her this time. For lunch we actually stayed and ate at one of the restaurants, that's something we never do. We ate at Ariel's Grotto which is a character dining restaurant. It's different than the hotels because it's not buffet. The lunch was decent, mine was a little cold because I was trying to take a long time so we could be sure to see all the characters that were there. We saw Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Ariel, Chip and Dale. No one new, but they were dressed differently. I know, we're Disney geeks, what can I say? They did a conga line twice, which Tabitha enjoyed being in. When they bring your check, they bring a big plate of cotton candy! That was unexpected, we had just let Tabitha have an ice cream sundae, so she got way more sugar than we had anticipated.
After lunch we left and headed to the aquarium for Tabitha's otter class. While she was in class, Chris and I walked over to Shoreline Village and enjoyed looking around the shops and such. We also saw some ads for fun harbor cruises, like a murder mystery cruise! Now we're thinking and hopefully we'll do something soon. It will probably be a day cruise so Tabitha can go too, we know she'd be very excited to go on a boat.
Once we got home and had a quick dinner, Chris and I got back to playing our new rented game. We rented Dark Cloud on Sunday and are thoroughly loving it! There is no way we're going to finish in time, so we're going to Electronics Boutique and trade in 2 of our old games and buy a used copy of Dark Cloud. We figure we'll go there today and walk around the mall a bit. This mall has a nice koi area that Tabitha enjoys walking around in and looking at all the fish and Chris and I can sit with our drinks.
Yesterday was our bi-weekly trip to Whole Foods. We just love their cheese section. We could not resist taking some home. So for dinner last night we had chips and salsa (actually, we're calling it "salt-sa" because I definitely over salted it), blackberries, two kinds of French breads and Holland Edam cheese. We got Tabitha a couple Mini Babybel cheeses just for her and she thought that was pretty cool. Afterwards we, you guessed it, played our game :)
Not sure what's on the agenda today yet.
