We had a good day yesterday. We went to the LA Zoo for their Spring Fling. Tabitha got to plant a carrot to bring home, get her face painted like a bunny, decorate bunny ears and, of course, the obligatory picture with the Easter Bunny. We stayed and toured the zoo for awhile as well. Before we even got in though, we saw this in the parking lot. A great big Crayola Bus. It's on tour for the 100th birthday of Crayola. Tabitha played with markers that write on glass, model magic, markers that are also connecting toys, twist-up eraseable crayons, some gel type pens and other stuff. It was really cool and I'm glad we got a chance to see it.
After the zoo, we headed to a Dodgers game. That didn't go so well overall. Tabitha was really antsy and just kind of annoying. Plus the Dodgers were not doing well at all. Chris and I rarely leave a game early, but we made an exception to our rule last night and headed home. We got Tabitha to bed and then settled down to play our rented game and it turns out, that it's not very good. We had one great game and 2 losers in a row now. I really hope we have better luck with our next game.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow, Tabitha is really excited. We're going to color eggs in the morning while Chris is at work, go for a walk when he's close to home which is, amazingly enough, when the Easter Bunny visits and hides the eggs and her basket. We'll arrive home and Tabitha will have a great time before we sit down to Easter dinner. My mom and sister may or may not come over, I hope they do, I like spending holidays with family. In any case, I know it will be a good day.
